Christmas 2008

Merry Christmas 2008.. Just a few days late! Oh well. My mom made it to Kansas on Monday before Christmas.... She had to drive between snow storms. But she made it here safely. I had to work this whole week (minus Christmas Day.. )and Cory's off on Shut down this week and next so i've been leaving him honey do lists. So anyways he and mom had to go Christmas shopping for me on Tuesdaya nd Wednesday... but we went to church Christmas Eve and then headed to Cory's Grandma's house for Christmas eve Dinner with all his famly... That was fun. My mom was ordered to make this overnight french toast thing that cory likes for Christmas Morning Breakfast. So mom and I made that the 24th night beofre bed.... then Christmas Day we woke up and opened stockings and presents and then just relaxed for the day by ourselves. Sam

We've been having some issues with Sam our cat... Sometimes hes just a love bug othertimes he can get into the most trouble imaginable. We dont know what to do anymore. He's just an adroable Siamese cat but gets into everything. For example.. Cory left a cup of Soda on the end table tonight and was out of the cahri for maybe 5 minutes and came backa nd Sam had already spilled the soda ll over the place. Sam has done this about 10-15 times already... and everytime we rub his nose in it and spank his butt and then he gets to be locked in the basement for a bit as a "time out" sorta thing. So far and thankfully he has left the christmas tree alone.... but still.. i can only imagine he will attack that at somepoint too. I tried to make it as cat proof as possible. I kepe tellingmyself that Sam will sepnd the holidays locked in the basement because he is just into everything.. he's worse then a 2 year old. So if there's anybody with any suggestions please let us know! Like i said sometime's he just a lovebug and you cant help but just love him. othertimes you just want to throw him out!

~Thanksgiving~

Well Turkey Day is fast approaching... Thought I better update a little bit on here. Some news... We finally got our professional wedding pictures... They are wonderful. They are on facebook and myspace is you need those links let me know. I love how all of them turned out, we better love them for the price of them. Phew! Anyways... its exactly 1 month til Christmas... Thats crazy! Seems like it was just the 4th of July and we were in the middle of planning our wedding, time is sure flying by these days. It better slow down a bit because I have lots to do before Christmas coming ,mom is coming down here for Christmas yay!!! Let's see... Other news... Our wonderful Cat has been up to no good lately, he's been decieding that its fun to play all night long and run up and down the hallway, its fun to go to the bathroom anywhere he wants. We tried to put him outside to see what he would do without his leash on and he just sits on the porch and looks at us like "Guys you forgot something so I can't go anywhere because i have no leash on". So at least we know he wont be running away anytime soon. We are not sure how the holidays will go with Sam and the Christmas Tree. we'll have pictures I'm sure. Anyways... Thanksgiving this week... We are having Cory's family over for dinner. Not sure what else is going on that day.. I have to work "Black Friday" and Cory is off... but I'll be off around noon..then maybe we'll go shopping for some deals. Anyways... Halloween

Well Halloween is coming up this weekend so that means trick or treating for the neighborhood kidos.... Phew! Last year I think we ran out of candy if i remember right... s o we really stocked up this year and got tons of candy... hopefully we wont run out. I was told to start thinking of a christmas list... Oh i dont know what I want... Ugh!! Oh well. Anyways.... Yeah not much going on in our lives.. just working and making money... I have started scrapbooking again and hopefully going to bestarting our wedding album soon then not sure what my next project will be after i'm done with that but im sure i'll find something. Diamond Nationals

Well We went up to Minnesota for the weekdn so Cory could compete in the Dinamond Nationals Karate Tournament... It was a very good weekend! Got to spend time with Amy and Jeremy and my mom drove over from WI too. Cory placed 3rd in Weapons, 2nd in Forms. It was a HUGE tournament and we will be heading back next year but we will be staying much longer then we did this time we will make a LONG weekend out of the deal.... It was fun to be back with Amy we have such a good time!! can't wait for our next adventure home to spend more time with them. We got back today flew into Wichita and then one of Cory's friends he worsk with drove us to Censsa where are cars where parked and i looked at my car and saw wow it was parked really really close to Cory's car... Didnt think much of it other then maybe Ben (who dropped us off on Friday at the airport) had a issue parking my car. So we are started heading home and cory pulls over and gets out of his car and looks at my car only to find someone basiuclly side swipped my car and so the front passaenger side corner is all mushed in.... So we will be filing a hit and run accdient report through censsa and Cory's already got a cleaim into American Family... jsut sucks because I"ve NEVER EVER in my life ever HIt anything or been hit and I come home form Vacation and this is what I get.... SUCKS! Anyways.. Hope everyone had a good weekend... I did for the most part....

Working Out....

So I've been trying to head to Gensis pretty much everyday since about 2 weeks ago. I'm feeling more energized however I dont think its helping as far as gaining more muscle or anything.... Oh well guess i'll be continuing to work out and have nothing happen.... Gives me something to do while Cory's at karate 3 nights a week. Speaking of karate- Next weekend we will be flying to Minneapolis and Cory's particiapting in the Diamond Nationals karate Tournament.... We will be through for the whole weekend and I'll get to see my mom again and also my Maid of Honor Amy and her Boyfriend jeremy are all meeting us up there!!! :) Yay!! I can't wait. I cant wait to move back to Wisconsin at somepoint down the road. I like it here but really my friends are back home in WI and I think Cory can tell that its starting to get to me. Dont get me wrong.. I have friends here and they are wonderful but my closeests friends are back home and I really really miss them. its always such a tease when we go back to WI because we are there for such a short time that it just seems like never enough time to spend with family and friends. Oh well!!! Until we can move back guess I'll be enjoying the few long weekends we can manage to get up there!! We are still awaiting for the professional photo's from the wedding.. but we should be getting them anyday I would think. But I better get going and get soemthing going for dinner... Tomorrow is working out day at actually Cessna Fitness Center with Cory after he's done with work.... So thats a different change of pace rather then Genesis all the time.
