Busy, Busy, Busy

Been a long time since my last Blog... So here we go....

We have both been working and living life. Mady continues to amaze us everyday. She is learning more and more and getting ready for preschool. Yes I said preschool-- she will start next year 2013 school year. I dont even want to think about my baby being old enough for preschool yet.... So going to cherish this last year before her and our life will change with her being in school.  She is so excited watching the bus come down our street and get kids... keeps saying "I ride bus soon momma"... yes dear soon enough you will. 

Thursday is our wedding anniversary. can't believe it's been 4 years we've been married.  When you think about it we met August 20, 2004 in Medford, Wisconsin. That really doesnt seem so long ago... but that was our first date. Thinking back on our first date... I drove up to meet Cory and we then drove to Wausau and got movie tickets for a movie later that night then we went to dinner at Tony Roma's..... then saw "Without a Paddle" good first date movie. Really the rest is history.  Cory and i split up and got back together mulitple times through the years but really what couple doesnt. Well in 2006 we really had gotten back together and trying our best to make things work. He ended up moving to Kansas for family reasons. In Septebmer 2006 I came down to kansas and visited him... met his family... and saw Hutchinson, KS for the first time. That was the first time i had ever even been to kansas. Then in December 2006 he flew to Wisconsin the day after Christmas and came to meet my family.  In February 2007- I moved to Kansas and moved in with Cory.  October 2007- Cory proposed at Airport Steakhouse here in town. August 2008- wedding day back in Wisconson. February 2009- found out we were pregnant. October 2009- Madyson Rose was born. So needless to say we've been busy and have always been there for each other through thick and thin. From our first day to everyday life nowdays.... We are here for one another and there's never a night where i dont go to bed wondering or doubting my love for Cory William. 

I love you Cory William!!! Thank you for the best 4 years of marriage a girl could ever ask for!!! You have brought more joy into my life then you know and you have opened my eyes to more love than anyone can ever dream of. I love you with my whole heart and here's to 94 more years!!! :)

Homeowners

Well we are in our house.... have been for a couple weeks now. and we have had a wake up call to Homeowner ship.........
1. Air conditioning went out when it was 96 degrees outside. NOT GOOD.
2. Kitchen Faucet leaked all over the kitchen... NOT GOOD.
3. Water line going to Fridge water line leaking in basement... NOT GOOD>
4. Water Softner leaking water in basement... NOT GOOD.....

Welcome to home ownership.....
1. Air--- GOT IT FIXED that night!!!
2. Kitchen-- Bought a new faucet and installed same night!!!
3. Water line--- Just fixed tonight by our wonderful neighbor who is a plumber!!!! THANK YOU!!!!
4. Water Softner-- Looked online for a instruction manual and found it and it was all clogged... cleaned it out the pump and float are working no more leaks~!

PHEW! I think thats enough repairs for only 2 weeks of living here!!

House Update

Well our house is finally getting there and close to us being able to move in. 
Walls are painted, ceilings are done, carpet is going in..... fans are up in the bedrooms... Here's some pictures.

just need to finish the carpetting and get the blinds up on the windows and put another light up and basebaords and countertops. but i think thats it!! Getting excited to be in our house FINALLY!!!

Job!

I FINALLY landed a job... back at Kroger and so excited to be back!!! :) Start next week and have orientation on friday!! Not doing payroll but another position that sounds fun!! Just excited to be in the working world again.

As you can tell I havent been doing the 30 day photography challenge like I said I would. Its harder then it seems.  So oh well.. try next time!!

Our House Project

Since we've moved back to Kansas we have been living with Cory's Grandma. Which is working out great! There was a lady renting out our old house we had so she was out Decemeber 31st.  We have been working on the house pretty much everyday since she's been out. She had a huge dog, 3 cats and 4 ferretts running around the house so pretty mcuh everything has to be replaced.  The carpetting and padding is coming out and being replaced, new countertops,  new ceilings (no more popcorn ceilings), new ceiling fans and light fixtures, new paint, new stove/microvwave, new washer/dryer, new fridge, Pretty much a brand new house.  Mady loves playing in the backyard already and there's nothing special about it yet. we want to work on that once it gets warmer outside and she can play and we'll get a swing set area for her and since its fenced in we wont have to worry about her running into the street.  We still have a long ways ahead of us to go before we can move in but should only be a couple more weeks.  As this week we are ready for the new ceiling and starting on sealing the floors.  then the walls then new carpet.... So we're getting there. until then... here's a few pictrues of before demolishion started.

Madyson's First Haircut

It was a spur of the moment thing..... Cory's Grandma's office is behind a hair salon so by chance we stopped in there and Vicky cut Mady's hair. Madyson had no tears at all... just sat in the chair like a big girl and looked in the mirror like a little diva she is. She had fun just holding onto the curlers and hair clips. But the beautician said no more Johnson's baby shampoo for her..... its not letting her hair get any thicker... So now shes offically a big girl and using big girl shampoo... :( Momma's very sad!
